This is a project were I wanted to explore scattering and instancing in Maya using MASH. I am a lover of natural scenery so it was "natural" for me to do a nice forest.
I had previously created a couple of assets such as the house, the rifle and a couple of cups, and thought they would fit perfectly into this scene.
Assets were created in Maya and textured in Substance Painter. Trees were made in SpeedTree. Everything was then assembled and rendered in Redshift.
